Each year the Town celebrates our nation’s Independence Day the Saturday before the Fourth of July. A festive parade through town ends at the high school where there is a midway with carnival rides and games, live music on a stage, and special activities or presentations.
For the past three years, the Recycling Task Force has provided recycling boxes, courtesy of Capital Waste, beside every trash can on the grounds, to collect cans and bottles.
